Course description:  

The Immediate Life support (ILS) course is addressed to all health professionals and provides the necessary knowledge and skills that are important during the initial stage of managing a seriously ill patient who will need to be resuscitated. In the ILS course the trainee under the guidance of certified instructors is taught skills regarding airway management, ECG recognition, as well as to deliver rapid, safe defibrillation through the use of an automated external defibrillation or manual defibrillator.

The theoretical material of the course is in e-learning format prepared by the (European Resuscitation Council) ERC in English according to the 2021 Guidelines. The e-learning component must be completed for the participants to get access to the hands-on training. No cancellation is possible after receiving access to the e-learning material. All practical skills and simulation training are performed with physical presence.

The evaluation of the trainees is carried out by continuous assessment during the course. The participants, who successfully complete the course, receive the certificate of the ILS Provider issued by the European Resuscitation Council and HSCPR, which is valid for 3 years.
