• To characterize the health impact of climate change, ecosystem degradation, loss of biodiversity, overpopulation and depletion of natural resources;

• To know the main actions to reduce the ecological footprint of the health sector
• To identify the health co-benefits of climate change mitigation activities;
• To discuss how internists can prepare and intervene in the health consequences of climate change.

Description of the workshop:

We will discuss challenging clinical cases, where decision making is difficult due to conflict between doctors and patients or relatives, or conflict between different clinical teams or members of the same team. Using the examples of challenging cases contributed by delegates, we will discuss the principles of conflict resolution and some practical strategies to deal with conflict.
